ROCCE A’ LA JULIENNE (ROCK SLICES)

DolomitiArtRock, a workshop for children exploring the macro and micro-world of rocks. Organised by the Educational Service of the Regole d’Ampezzo Museums

Is there a border between big and small? But, above all, can the big exist without the small? From the majestic towering rock walls that look down on us to the tiny grains of sand we find on the banks of mountain streams. A workshop that looks at the Dolomites through the microscope, playing with minerals and crystals and slicing up those rocks.

The workshop is inspired by the exhibition DolomitiArtRock, on show at Palazzo Corte Metto for the entire duration of the Dolomites UNESCO LabFest.

Led by museum educator: Matteo Isotton
